RESCUE NOT REVENUE
Off the beaten paranormal path I go on this topic...although it does correlate with animals and people both having spirits, emotions and inner-beings.
Having a busy chaotic life with many children (not including the husband ! :), all that goes with it just found a place in our home to rescue a 7 year old female Shih Tzu from a terrible life. She feels older due to many health issues and meds needed everyday. Being a hypoallergenic dog and perfect for the Holzer-Gargiulo household...took her in and are now re-training her.
In-between developing my TV shows and networking for my other projects, it can be done to extend more love and time to these poor animals. Spiritually moved by my mother in-law who rescued an Apricot Poodle from a Puppy Mill from Middletown, NY placed me in the position I am in now.
I never liked dogs as I was always a cat person.
I have applied for a second Shih Tzu :) and maybe a house for myself, as we will then total 8!
You just never know what life morphs into and so animals do come with spirits as humans do and must be cared and saved for in the same way. Aliens or Humanoids as my father calls them...well that remains to be seen but I certainly would be just as nice to them as well. Unless they point something at me...I will be flying the other way! ;)

Dubbed as the first ghost hunter, Hans Holzer's practice was unique in its own right. During his time as a hunter, there were no cell phones, no computers or thermal imaging cameras. Hans never ran with a team in a high tech van, had a logo, or had fancy hi-tech gadgets. Hans conducted cases with the simplest tools; a tape recorder, a camera, and mediums such as Ethel Johnson-Meyers, Sybil Leek, and Trixie Allingham. But most importantly though, is knowledge.
It wasn't until I had joined Asylum that I had heard of Holzer and picked up his book entitled 'Ghosts'. This behemoth of a book is packed to the ream with such fantastic information and detailed accounts of the various investigations and case work that Holzer conducted. From New York City, to the West Coast to to Vienna, Holzer's investigations had kept me glued from beginning to end. These books are an absolute must read.
His daughter, Alexandra Holzer is a member of the SCBWI Organization, Poetry.com, Firstwriters.com and IMDBpro.com. Alex is an accomplished writer of several short stories for children, poetry, sci-fi/fantasy novels, screenplays and supernatural horror thrillers. Alexandra is also a regular columnist for UFO.Digest.com. Her first book 'Lady Ambrosia' has been Field Nominated for the Printz Award for Young Adult Literature by the American Library Association.
